- In PvP, since 70% of defense is factored in the total effective attack, Xira's ability is actually only adding 0.075 * defense stat to a player's attack in the overall calculation. Example: if a player has 1000/1000 attack defense stats, Xira's actual bonus is only +75 to attack instead of +250 because of the effective attack formula.
Above in formula form: [ Attack + (25% x Defense )] + [( Defense x 75%) x 70%] = Effective Attack
Mathmatical Proof: Attack = 1000, Defense = 1000
[1000 + (0.25 * 1000)] + [(1000 * 0.75) * 0.7] = Effective Attack
[1000 + (250)] + [(750) * 0.7] = Effective Attack
1250 + 525 = Effective Attack
1775 = Effective Attack
Straight 1000 / 1000 Attack / Defense would yeild an Effective Attack of 1700.
- Where this Generals strength is, is for shields(High Defence) players to become better monster hunters. As
monster damage on attacks is based solely on the Attack stat of a player, this conversion allows for a much
increased damage. However it is of note this will also hinder any healing/alternate actions that require
Defence to effect them.
