The spirit of Darius's army is weak and their morale is low because they understand that there can be no victory.
Yet there may still be hope. Within the Land of Earth lies an ancient temple rumored to hold the Crystal of Earth. The mystical power of this crystal may be enough to turn the tide of war. Find your way to this temple and retrieve the Crystal.
The Land of Earth is the second area available for questing in Castle Age. To unlock the Land of Earth, you must gain 100% influence in the first 4 Land of Firequests (Pursuing Orcs, The Stone Lake, River of Light, and Falls of Jiraya). While doing the quests, there is a chance that you will be ambushed by some enemies. If you defeat these foes, you will either earn double the amount of influence you normally would have earned, or you will win a Random Soldier Drop from the fight.
Karn, the Minotaur is a new addition to this questing hub as a mini boss like Kull. He appears after clearing the second quest (Crossing the Chasm), and can be summoned once the player has at least 20 army members, or if the player pays 30 Favor Points to summon him.
The Stairs of Terra Earth Trolls dwell besides the stone stairs of Terra. They are the guardians and wardens of the land and part of the reason why Terra is so isolated. To continue forward, you must defeat these giant Earthen Trolls.

The ensuing battle rages for some time with no sign of end...
With a roar of frustration, the giant stomps the ground and turns toward you! A swipe from the giant's hulking sword barely misses you and crashes to the ground. Immediately a bright blast from Celesta's direction explodes against the giant and he is momentarily stunned. Zarevok crushes the earth below with his gigantic sword. A rift opens up and causes the ground to treble. The giant loses its balance and tumbles to the floor.
You seize this moment to jump on the giant's blade and climb up his arm. Your army presses forward! However, their blows are ineffective, and the giant is angry. He recovers and readies for another strike. It is too late. You have reached his head and deliver the finishing blow. The giant tumbles to the floor and the path to the temple lies before you.
To recruit Valiant, ask 25 friends to "speak to him on your behalf" by sending them a request similar to gifting. Once 25 friends have accepted the request, visit Valiant again to get him to join you.
Alternatively, you can just pay 25 favor points to sway him.
Note: Only available to players playing on the facebook platform. Not available through web3 or iOS app.
Notes
You do not need to repeat the Special Mission to unlock the Sub-Quests for the 5th of the 5 Main Quests. Once the Special Mission has been completed, once a Main Quest hits 100% influence, it will then automatically unlock the Sub-Quests.
The Colossal Orb is both an Alchemy and a Magic drop. As a magic item, it has 0 attack and 0 defense points, but if you wish to see if you have an orb or not, you can check your magic page to find out. By going to your Alchemy page, you may summon the Colossus of Terra, who is a monster.
