Guild Level is a rating for a guild, based on Guild Achievements and attacking in Land of Earth. Increasing guild level allows players to unlock more content and increase the abilities of their guild.

Guild Level Requirements

The formula for guild level is similar to the formula for levels of Runes - for the first 8 levels, it follows an additive formula, but at rank 9 it turns into a quadratic function.

Once a guild reaches rank 5 and unlocks Land of Earth, XP can be risked in battles. Guilds will not be able to rank down below rank 5, and cannot lose XP below 600 total guild XP.

*Usage: To know how many XP your Guild currently has, hover at the Guild XP bar and note the number. Then, subtract the number from the corresponding (Level) XP in the table above. E.g.: The image below shows a Guild Level 8 with 113 XP to the next. Therefore, the current XP it has = 132 - 113 = 19 XP.

Obtaining Guild XP

Guild XP can be obtained in two different ways. Guilds can earn Conquest Achievements by completing different objectives in Land of Mist, or they can earn xp by conquering towers in Land of Earth.

Guild Achievements

Note: Since Land of Fire and Land of Mist were merged in December 2012, the Sacking Lands trophy is unavailable, as 'Sacking' was only the terminology for Fire Lands, while winning a Land of Mist land is denoted as 'Conquering'. Update December 2014 - This has been updated to take mist lands into account, and is now obtainable again.

Land of Earth

Conquering a tower in Land of Earth can earn a guild up to 50 guild xp. The maximum amount of points is earned if only one guild is attacking the defender; if more than one guild enters the war, the guild xp gained will be split between the two, though the first guild to start the war earns a larger share of the points.

Conversely, losing an offensive or defensive battle in Land of Earth will cause the losing guild to lose up to 40 XP. When defending, the full amount will be lost, but when attacking, the risk is split between any guilds that have joined the battle.

Empty towers can be attacked to gain XP, but only if they are the first tower tagged when an officer starts the war.

Guild Level Benefits

Ranking up a guild has several benefits:

  • More items are unlocked in the War Shop
  • Daily Bonuses will increase as guild level increases.
  • Conquest Path bonuses increase with guild level, starting at level 8.
  • The guild's essence silos in the Trade Market can be leveled up to the guild's level, so increasing in level allows for more essence capacity.
  • Filling silos in the Trade Market will grant higher bonuses to members of the guild, as the silos get larger.
